I have a library of PDF’s on my iPad purchased from O’Reilly’s eBook store (http://shop.oreilly.com/) but finding content can be a slow process. (I try to avoid non fiction books books from the Amazon or iTunes Store, and instead buy from stores that provide you with a PDF version as well as the eBook version, so what you get is a 100% representation of the book (PDF) as well as the eBook version).

Inspired by Safari Books Online’s new multi boom search, but not wishing to pay the $39 USD / month fee (https://www.safaribooksonline.com/) I tried various apps to achieve the same on my library of PDF books, most of which purchased from O’Reilly’s eBook store (http://shop.oreilly.com/). I tried the common ones iAnnotate, PDFExpert, GoodReader, but while some had multi book search on contents, the search results didn’t show where in the book the result was found, just which books had the search term.

Tweet Seeker App is an app for iPhone’s & iPad’s that let’s you do that. If you have tweeted a LOT, unlike numerous other applications it will also let you export all your tweets from twitter.com and import them into the app rather than be limited to the last 3,200 only.
